Psych 101

At Above + Beyond, psychoeducation (also known as Psych 101) is a key component for children, adolescents, parents and guardians to gain during services in order to apply beyond sessions. When empowered with knowledge and skills, children and adolescents in particular are able to take what they have learned and generalize it hopefully at home, at school, and/or out in the community. When one knows better, they tend to do better. This blog will informally share tips, tools, and a knowledge base from a different perspective to provide another avenue of support. Hope it helps!
